Hey-hey,
This summer was on of the best summers I have ever had in a really long time. Although, there were many life changing moments that happened. Every moment was worth it! Having the time to travel and experience life outside of my day-to-day regimen was something I needed. From Phoenix-Denver-Iowa-Chicago-Birmingham-Atlanta I learned a lot about myself and surprisingly my family heritage (I share about this inĀ another blog post).
From my summer travels here are five simple things I learned:
- Be more risk taking- Explore things that you necessarily wouldn’t if you where in the comforts of your home town.
- Randomly strike up a conversation- You never known who you will meet, and it always interesting to hear peoples life stories.
- Eat what you want- Its a vacation for crying out loud!
- Enjoy the people you travel with- Whether its family or friends, spending time with the people you love is a luxury. Don’t take it for granted, every day is not promised!
- Make time for meditation- Centering yourself when traveling from place-to-place will help to make the vacation experience more rewarding and positive.
Until the next destination…
