Honorable Mention: DJ D-Nice Club Quarantine Party

March 23, 2020

Hey-Heyy,

I wanted to take time and shout-out DJ D-Nice. D-Nice hosted the best global party of the year this weekend. Dj’ing straight from his home for 9+ hours! Mann, Black people are creative! Several hat switches and no bathroom breaks, doing the Lordt’s work. D-Nice raised the vibration of the world with feel good music. Everybody and they mamma was at the function. Over 102,000 people to be exact!

Club Quarantine, helped me with the intense moments of isolation I was feeling on my Birthday weekend (I’ll be sharing a post about this soon). D-Nice was and still is doing his work as a healer. This is the type of healing work I was talking about on blog post http://www.destinationpeach.com/?p=1391 .

Thank you to DJ D-Nice. The world celebrates you.

Until Next Time,

-Peach

20 Days of Peach: Day 20…Happy Birthday To Me!

March 20, 2020

We made it! It’s March 20th. 20 straight days of content. I’m proud of myself!

March 20th, the first day of spring. Also, International Day of Happiness. But, we all know the best thing about March 20th is my birthday. Cue Drake’s “Ratchet Happy Birthday” song.

This birthday I’m sitting in the house. Today reminds me of when I turned 16, there was a snow storm. My family and I were locked in the house with nothing to do, no birthday cake and no birthday meal (a 16-year-old’s worst nightmare). Fast forward years later…stuck in the house because of social distancing and I’m not mad at it. Didn’t plan much for today.

I’ll eat my vegan cupcakes. Sleep. Put on a pretty outfit and have an at home dinner with my family. *Update*… I had dinner solo-dolo, one of my family members were awaiting their rona test results (insert shoulder shrug).

I’m blessed to be 33 years old. 33 is a master number. 33 year is often defined as the “Jesus year”. 33 is a year of high spiritual vibration. 33 reflects mind, body, soul or above, below, and in between.

33 is going to be a great year, I can intuitively feel. Stay tuned for what’s to come.

Oh yeah, starting Monday we will be back to weekly blog posts.

Until Next Time,

-Peach

20 Days of Peach: Day 17… Healers Call To Action

March 17, 2020

Hey-Heyy,

I hope this post is finding everyone in the highest of vibrations. Today, I feel called from a higher source to deliver this message…

Healers it’s time! This is a call to action. As we embrace the uncertainty of the coronavirus, it’s time for healers to step up! Healers need to assist in shifting the collect conscious of the world. Let’s be honest, the energy in the world is not great. New reports, social media, and being in the home is influencing everyone’s vibration.

So how can healers step up? Healers, can step up by sharing your work with the world. Healers, walk in your purpose but make it digital! Give your services. Think twice about adding a monetary value to your services.

Continue making digital content to help heal the world. Music is healing. Comedy is healing. Writing is healing. Podcasts are healing. YouTube videos can be healing. Whatever you do, whatever your gift is… use your gift to help the world heal during this time.

We are truly on the brink of things getting very real. One message can be the breakthrough a person needs to stay strong in this cultural climate. To be a healer is a special gift. Only a select few are called to live the healer life. To help people heal takes much sacrifice. The time has come…healers it’s time.

Until Next Time,

-Peach

20 Days of Peach: Day 16…Social Distancing Like a Pro

March 16, 2020

The declaration for social distancing is catching everyone off guard. While some are choosing to social distance at the bar, many of us are chilling at home. Having time to slow down is a rarity. In all honesty the recent events feel like the universe’s way of making us all slow down.

As we spend time in the house, let’s make the most of our time. If you’re bored at home…here are some things to keep you occupied and encouraged.

  • Catch up on rest.
  • Watch the TV shows you haven’t had time for.
  • Spring clean your home.
  • Read the book you’ve been dying to read.
  • Make or modify action plans for your 2020 goals.
  • Get started on the passion project you’ve been waiting to start.
  • Learn a new hobby.
  • Study a new language for your future vacation.
  • Workout at home.
  • Catch up with loved ones.

Be grateful for the time off it won’t last forever.

Until Next Time,

-Peach

20 Days of Peach: Day 15… Have Compassion!

March 15, 2020

Look, we all know what’s going on in the world. The Rona is happening! Fear is causing a lot of people to go wild. Not sure who needs to hear this but…the Coronavirus is out of our control. What is meant to be will be. I say this to say, fear-mongering isn’t good for our mental and spiritual well-being. Take back what you can control!

We are fully aware that obsessive shopping isn’t how you get back control…so stop over shopping.

What we can control is our level of compassion! Have compassion!

Have compassion for how you feel. Have compassion for what other people may be feeling. Have compassion for the energy you are bringing into many environments (think to yourself, are you adding to fear culture or easing fear?). Have compassion to stay home if you are required. Have compassion to keep things clean.

Have compassion to help people that have been displaced because of the virus. Have compassion for the doctors, nurses, and medical administrative staff. Have compassion for people losing family members. Have compassion for the people who died from the virus.

Compassion is what we can control. Our energy and vibration we bring to the virus can be controlled. Choose to operate from a space of compassion! Do your part in contributing healing energy to the world.

Until Next Time,

-Peach

20 Days of Peach: Day 14…Happy Birthday Dad!

March 14, 2020

When I about March 14th, I think of my Dad. Today’s my Dad’s birthday. Happy Birthday Dad!

Number 14 represents love and spirituality. People born on March 14th are compassionate, intellectual, and disciplined.

I wanted to use my platform to wish my Dad Happy Birthday! I am blessed to have two living parents who are happily-married. My Dad mean’s the world to me. He’s stoic, calm, self-sacrificing, handsome, creative…I could go on and on. Instead, I’ll just share 14 of the things my Dad has taught me.

14 things my dad taught me:

  1. Don’t come home stupid!
  2. Always have money set aside for a rainy day (still working on this).
  3. Never depend on a man for anything, always have your own.
  4. Have the gift of gab. Know how to speak with great cadence.
  5. The early bird gets the worm. Can’t complain about what you want if you don’t get up early to work for it.
  6. Friday is the happiest day of the week.
  7. Research everything!
  8. Home is a peaceful sanctuary.
  9. If you clean up after yourself, you won’t have to clean.
  10. You can learn a lot from watching Bruce Lee movies.
  11. Everyone grows and evolves.
  12. Have purpose in your day. Never spend the entire day doing nothing.
  13. Always be on time! (still working on this).
  14. You deserve to be happy!

I take on many similar traits as my father. He’s a man about action and principle. Look, if your Dad is still alive and you have a relationship…pick up the phone, tell him you love him. Celebrate your parents!

Happy Birthday Dad.

Love,

-Peach

20 Days of Peach: Day 10… It’s Either Now or Never

March 10, 2020

Right now, I feel this intense energy needing me to move forward. Move forward with urgency in the things that inspire me. Move forward in pursuing my dreams with more discipline. There is this subtle voice in my head like “come on, Peach…we don’t have time, it’s either now or never”. My inner voice is on that 8 Mile…”palms sweaty, knees weak, arm’s heavy, mom’s spaghetti” type energy.

Every day, I watch people give up on their dreams. People stop believing in themselves. Watching people give up on their dreams is a trigger for me, like a strategic call to action from God to keep me focused. Sometimes I wonder, what happens in the moment when people are like “fawk these dreams, I’ll be content with my life as is”. Please be clear, I’m not saying we shouldn’t appreciate the space in life we are in.

But I am saying, there is a pivotal moment where you go for what you want or become enslaved to what other’s want for you. I feel like me and many other people are in this moment. Many of us are choosing to progress towards our dreams but the journey gets hard.

Look, if you have a dream go after it. No matter how big or how small the dream may be. No matter what age you are. The chances are high that your dream is connected to your purpose. The world can condition us into believing our dreams don’t matter. Our dreams do matter! Stop giving up on yourself. Many of our dreams are constructed to help people.

Now, if you’re working on a dream but haven’t seen any progress… keep going. When you know, the dream is a part of your purpose, you must move forward in the pursuit. I know the pursuit is tiring. The pursuit can be thankless, but I promise you one day the dream will manifest.

Not sure who needs to here this but…keep going!

Until Next Time…

20 Days of Peach: Day Six…Bali Day’s 4-7

March 6, 2020

One of the best nights in Bali!

Hey-Heyyy,

Here’s part two of my Bali Holiday enjoy :).

Day 4:

  • We started our morning off early again. We attended a Bali cooking class. Nyoman had set up our day perfectly. He had a driver pick us up from the villa. In the cooking class, we visited the local market. We learned how rice was made. We made ancestor offerings and later cooked a traditional Balinese meal. I loved how the cooking class offered vegan cooking options.
  • After cooking class, we went to the spa. We got massages and took floral baths. Later that night, Azjia wanted to get a tattoo. Nyoman, had a friend that did tattoos. Nyoman knows a guy for everything. Nyoman is the plug! So, we pulled up to his f riend’s house. His friend introduced himself and pulled out his tattoo equipment. Nyoman, Cierra, and I sat at the elders’ temple as we watched Azjia decide the type of tattoo she wanted. BTW every traditional Balinese house has some sort of temple.
  • The night was great. Family and friends started to pull up one by one after work. We met lots of good people. We drank Arak wine. Had deep conversations about life, happiness, religion, and living the Bali way. I even learned how to eat sunflower seeds the Bali way.

Day 5:

  • We started the day with a floating breakfast. Then we got dressed and headed to the Bali swing. The rain didn’t let us be great at the Bali swing. Because it was raining on and off, we only had time to take pictures for one swing.
    • Pro tip…if you go to the Bali swing have the employees take your photos.
  • After the Bali swing we were tired. We were going to go to the Holy Temple but we went to Seminyak instead. Nyoman drove us to Seminyak. Finding our Seminyak villa was a bit of a struggle. The villa was beautiful but not cleaned like it should have been, which was fixed.
  • Straight from the villa we started walking the Seminyak streets. We were right in the center of the action. We ate a great dinner. After dinner decided to go to Coco Market for this Bali sauce and got rained on. We then stayed at the Coco Market because it turned into a party. Outside of the Coco Market was a DJ. I’m telling you Bali is a whole vibe.
  • After the rain, we went midnight shopping haggling deals and went back to the villa.

Day 6:

  • Day six was a beach day. We went to Potato Head Beach Club. Potato Head is amazing. I highly recommend it, but do make sure you get a day bed! From Potato Head, we went to La Plancha to watch the sunset. After La Plancha, the plan was to go to La Favela but the rain and tiredness took us out. It was a long but good day.

Day 7:

  • We were headed back to the states. Before our flight, we visited Kynd Cafe. I was in vegan heaven at Kynd. From Kynd we went shopping at the Seminyak Flea Market. After shopping we check out of the villa and then headed to the airport.

And just like that our Bali trip came and went. I will be back! I will also be making a video about what you need to know when traveling to Bali.

Until Next Time…

20 Days of Peach: Day Three…Vacation Blues

March 3, 2020

Post vacation life is hard. Getting back into a normal routine has been a struggle. My mind is still on holiday. To think it was all good just a week ago. A week ago, I was living my best life and now I am back into the routine of work/bills. This was the first vacation where I did not want to go home. To be mentally detached from all expectations felt amazing!

For me, getting back into my routine made me realize there are some things I need to change. For post-vacation to affect me in this way, this lets me know my day-to-day routine ain’t working. I’ve been having thoughts about living internationally or how to live without working (true thoughts of a millennial).

According to Crockford (2019), coming back from a vacation can cause disinterest and decrease motivation and emotion levels. ->This is exactly how I feel. I don’t feel like doing anything. I’m jet lagged and need time to nurture my Pisces soul. My plan is to work through my feelings while changing what makes me discontent. In working through what I feel, I will be mindful in doing things “The Bali Way”. I’ll explain more about “The Bali Way” in another post.
